Shipping & Refunds

We locally stock a wide range of v-belts and hosing and are a nationwide hose and belt distributor. If you need to return an item you can choose to ship it or drop off the product at the Slome Belting & Supply warehouse located at 27100 Richmond Rd, Suite 1 Solon, Ohio 44139.

 

If you are shipping the product:

  • Carefully package the item(s) and include the packing slip.

  • Write the reason for returning the product on your packing slip; if the packing slip is not available, please provide the purchase date, the original invoice number and the item number for the product.

  • Indicate whether you would like a replacement product or a credit.

  • Please prepay shipping – Slome Belting & Supply Co. does not accept Cash on Delivery (C.O.D.s).

Refunds

  1. Return Window Returns are not accepted after 30 days from the original date of delivery or invoice. All return requests must be initiated and approved within this 30-day window.

2. Restocking Fees All returned items are subject to a variable restocking fee based on the product category and manufacturer guidelines:

  • Belting Products: A standard 20% restocking fee applies to all eligible belting products.

  • Other Industrial Supplies: Restocking fees for non-belting items vary by product line, manufacturer, and specific part numbers. The exact restocking fee will be calculated and communicated to you upon submitting a return request.

  • Custom/Cut-to-Length Orders: Custom-fabricated items, cut-to-length belting, or specially ordered non-stock items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable.

3. Condition of Returned Goods To be eligible for a return, all products must be:

  • Unused, and unaltered with original paperwork or invoicing.

  • Returned in the original manufacturer packaging with all manuals, accessories, and documentation included.

  • Free from any operational wear, grease, or installation marks.

4. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Process No returns will be accepted without a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

  1. Request an RMA: Contact our sales or support team within the 30-day window with your original order number, part number(s), and reason for return.

  2. Review & Approval: We will review your request, determine the specific restocking fee for your items, and issue an RMA number if approved.

  3. Shipping: The customer is responsible for all return freight charges. The RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the shipping package.

  4. Inspection: Upon receipt, our warehouse team will inspect the items. If the goods do not meet the condition requirements outlined in Section 3, the return will be rejected and the items can be shipped back to the customer at their expense.

5. Refunds and Credits Once the return is received and passes inspection, a credit memo or refund will be issued to the original method of payment, minus the applicable restocking fee and any original shipping charges. Please allow 5-7 business days for the credit to process.

 

Custom Orders

Custom orders are sold on a “Final Sale” basis only. No cancellations, returns, refunds or credits are allowed.
